Climate change is not an abstraction \u2013 it is our everyday reality. 2024 was the warmest year in the history of measurements in Europe, with an average temperature of 10.69\u00b0C, which is 1.47\u00b0C higher than the average for the years 1991\u20132021, and the tropical heat wave also affected Polish cities. In the face of growing climate challenges, specific answers are emerging. One of them is a report prepared by a team of experts under the auspices of the University of Economics in Krakow, which focuses on healthy urban planning and a comprehensive approach to shaping urban space.<\/p>\n

The team of the Ma\u0142opolska School of Public Administration of the UEK has prepared a report entitled “Healthy urban planning. How to design cities resistant to climate change”<\/em>. This is a comprehensive analysis of the current state and a proposal for universal spatial planning standards that are to increase the resilience of cities to the effects of the climate crisis.<\/p>\n

We are proud to announce that Bart\u0142omiej Kisielewski<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, architect and co-founder of Horizone Studio, was among the co-authors of the report.<\/p>\n
