The Radisson RED Hotel building is a modern, free-standing facility consisting of 11 above-ground floors and a two-level underground garage. The building has two evacuation staircases, separated for fire safety and protected against smoke. Communication is supported by 6 elevators, including one adapted for the needs of rescue teams.
The building was put into use in June 2024.
The following are located on each floor:
A lighting installation consisting of several hundred light bulbs was designed in the lobby area, above the entrance. Islands of modular ceilings were introduced to avoid the accumulation of inspections and to improve acoustic values in the lobby area. Acoustic material in dark gray was proposed for the finishing of the ceiling fronts around the atrium.
Opposite the entrance, the main point identifying the hotel is a sculpture of a dragon, which refers to the Wawel Dragon.
To the left of the entrance is the gaming zone – a pool table and slot machines. Further on, there is a self-service kiosk.
The reception consists of two free-standing modules. To the right, looking from the entrance, there are self-check-in stations.
To the right of the entrance is the restaurant zone, bar and kitchen.
Representative single-flight stairs connect the ground floor with the next floor.
On the first floor there are 5 conference rooms, a board room, a pre-function zone and office and social facilities for hotel employees.
The lighting of public areas (pre-function zone, conference rooms) is controlled using the DALI system, which allows for setting light scenes.
The exhibition halls have mobile partition walls that separate individual rooms while providing acoustic comfort.
The designed interiors also include numerous finishes such as curtains, graphics or acoustic lamella panels, which have a significant impact on the overall acoustics of the designed interiors.
A buffet was designed in the pre-function zone.
Various types of hotel rooms are located on floors 2-9: Standard, Superior, Premium, Superior with terrace, Presidential Suite. 3 rooms have been designed for disabled people. In addition, these floors include: HSK warehouse, cleaning products warehouse, extras warehouse, workshop, laundries.
The facility meets the categorization requirements for a four-star hotel, Radisson RED brand standards and requirements for obtaining the LEED Gold certificate.
