On January 23-24, 2025, the Katowice International Congress Center hosted the ninth edition of 4 Design Days – a prestigious event that annually attracts leaders from the architecture, design and real estate industries from all over Europe. This year’s edition was held under the slogan “Journey into the future of architecture and design”.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to take part in as many as 55 sessions, debates and presentations, in which 270 speakers from Poland and abroad took part. The discussions focused on the following key topics:
These questions were the starting point for discussions involving architects, designers, urban planners, developers, investors and local government representatives.
Horizone Studio’s participation in the panel
On the second day of the event, a panel discussion entitled “The Sharing Economy in Real Estate: Co-living, Co-working, Co-parking” was held, with Bartłomiej Kisielewski, co-founder and partner at Horizone Studio, as one of the experts. The panel focused on the role of the sharing economy in the real estate sector – from the impact of this trend on the development of cities and local communities, to the design challenges facing architects and investors in the era of increasing urbanization. The panel also included: Oskar Grąbczewski, Karolina Kowalik, Monika Kulpa-Miros, Ida Mikołajska, Anna Szelągowska, Jakub Wazowicz-Łaszewski and Marcin Sawicki as moderator.
Horizone Studio’s project nominated for the Property Design Awards
The Property Design Awards Gala was held in the evening of January 23. Among the nominees was the interior design of the Radisson RED hotel in Krakow, designed by Horizone Studio in cooperation with VA.VER Studio. The conceptual interior design was created by Ovotz Design Lab, and the investor was GD&K Consulting.
