On 6. and 13.09.2017, the jury meetings of the Eurobuild Awards in Architecture – the awards of the Festival of Architecture 2017 were held. The Festival of Architecture is organized for the second time by Eurobuild Conferences together with the Association of Polish Architects (SARP). The idea behind the event is to present the achievements of Polish architecture and people who are passionate about creating the space around us. The aim of the competition is to select the best architectural projects in the area of commercial and public buildings, completed and handed over for use in Poland in 2016. This year, projects were judged in five categories:
The results of the Eurobuild Awards in Architecture will be announced at the Architecture Festival Gala on the 20th of September 2017 at the SARP headquarters in Warsaw.
Of particular note is the composition of experts who select the nominated and then winning projects. This is because the winners of the competition are selected by a jury of recognized architects and representatives of the commercial real estate market. Thus, the discussion of projects takes place among experts looking at completed buildings from different perspectives – from the position of designers, developers and investors.
This year Horizone Studio was also invited to join the jury.
