Horizone Studio at the archi•HOTELS conference

Daria Trzepla-Strzeńska talked about the technical aspects of the executive project of the Radisson RED hotel

During her presentation, Daria familiarized the participants with the history of the building in which the hotel was located and focused on the most important technical elements of the executive project. She discussed, among others, solutions ensuring appropriate acoustics, modern fire protection materials, facilities for people with disabilities and the standards of a 4-star hotel.

Particular attention was also paid to the safety system and the subject of LEED certification, which the hotel obtained at the Gold level. The requirements met by the facility included:

  • providing access to bicycle infrastructure (racks, showers),
  • reducing water consumption by 20% compared to the base value,
  • limiting the number of parking spaces,
  • using sanitary facilities with reduced water consumption,
  • designating an area for waste segregation.

The meeting was led by Aleksandra Twardowska-Kaczmarek from the ATK Architekt Wnętrz studio, and after the lecture, the participants had the opportunity to tour the hotel and see the implemented solutions up close.

The conference was not only an opportunity to learn about inspiring projects, but also to talk to industry experts and establish contacts in the unique space of the Radisson RED hotel – a modern facility in the heart of Krakow, offering creative design and comfort for both business and leisure travelers.

The event partners were:

BHM | Oras Polska | Hewi | Zehnder | Polska Grupa Tekstylna | Hana Design |
