The design of this farm in a town near Krakow was based on detailed guidelines from the investor, including the functional layout of the site, the layout of machinery and additional facilities, and requirements for safety and technical infrastructure. As part of the project, detailed measurements and site visits were conducted to precisely determine the layout of fences, the location of gates, and security zones. A lighting and monitoring system was also designed, with the priority being to minimize energy consumption and reduce light pollution. The centerpiece of the project is a new entrance area with two modular pavilions: a guardhouse with social facilities and a technical facility housing, among other things, a power generator.
Phase I encompasses the construction of the main building, with a distinctive, elongated “L”-shaped floor plan, designed with functionality and simplicity in mind. It will include:
Phase II envisages the construction of a covered shelter for hay storage.
The building’s architecture is based on the principles of minimalism and harmonious integration with the landscape. The horizontal form, with a green roof, a wooden facade made of charred Scandinavian pine panels, and a cross-laminated timber (CLT) structure, emphasizes the modern yet neutral character of the development.
The technical solutions used, from energy-efficient lighting to optimized monitoring, ensure a high level of security while respecting the natural environment.
