The ATAL Nowe Miasto Polesie housing estate is a modern housing complex located in Łódź, at the intersection of Pienista and Maczka streets. The design by the Horizone Studio architectural studio is distinguished by a coherent urban concept that combines modern architecture with functionality and spaces that facilitate the integration of residents.
The housing estate design is based on the idea of four quarters of development, creating a coherent and attractive urban environment. The open nature of the space facilitates the integration of the community, while providing residents with a sense of privacy. The central element of the project is a pedestrian and bicycle passage leading from the main entrance to the recreational area, which includes a playground, green areas and rest areas.
The estate offers approximately 350 apartments of various sizes – from one-room studios to spacious, five-room apartments exceeding 100 m². On the ground floors of the buildings facing Pienista Street, there are 40 service premises, providing residents with convenient access to trade and services.
The designers from Horizone Studio placed great emphasis on shaping greenery as an element that increases the comfort of life. Numerous squares, tall trees and shrubs were planned inside the complex, creating a friendly recreational environment. Greenery was also placed along the main communication routes, giving the estate a natural and aesthetic character.
As part of the investment, four independent underground garages were created, and raising the ground floors of the buildings by half a storey contributed to increasing the privacy of the apartments and better development of the recreational areas.
ATAL Nowe Miasto Polesie is an investment that meets the needs of modern city dwellers. An open urban concept, a well-thought-out layout of service functions and numerous recreational areas make the estate a place that is not only comfortable, but also conducive to integration.
Horizone Studio is an architectural studio that has many prestigious projects under its belt. The studio created, among others, a minimalist house in Wola Justowska in Kraków.
