GDPR information obligation clause

Pursuant to Article 13(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – hereinafter: GDPR

Personal data

The Service performs functions of obtaining information about the users of the service (“Users”, l. singular: “User”) and their behavior in the following ways:

  • by storing cookies (so-called “cookies”) in the end devices,
  • by collecting web server logs by the hosting operator.

We collect personal data from Users only if they voluntarily use one of the forms of contact indicated in the “CONTACT” tab.

We always try to process only those personal data which are necessary and to the minimum extent, whereby we may process the following personal data:

  • first and last name,
  • e-mail address,

Purposes of obtaining data from Users

The processing of the Users’ personal data indicated in the paragraph above is done for the purpose of:

  • Contacting the User, provided he/she has consented to it,
  • marketing (including newsletters), if the User has consented to it,
  • to fulfill ADO’s obligations imposed on it by law,
  • necessary for the performance of ADO’s business activities and in a manner that does not violate the rights and freedoms of the data subject

Sharing of Users’ data

Personal data collected by ADO may be made available to the relevant state authorities, upon their request, based on the relevant provisions of law. Your personal data is processed in a computer system, located in part in the so-called public cloud for the purpose of storing data on a server and operating an email server. We use Thunderbird services to handle our email correspondence and store data in the cloud.

ADO provides appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data provided by Users, in particular to prevent access to them by third parties or their processing in violation of the law, to prevent data loss, damage or destruction. The measures used are in accordance with the GDPR.

Users’ rights

Users have the right to:

  • access to their personal data,
  • request the rectification of their personal data that is incorrect and the completion of incomplete personal data,
  • to request the erasure of their personal data, in particular in the case of withdrawal of consent to processing, when there is no other legal basis for processing,
  • demand restriction of the processing of their personal data,
  • to object to the processing of their data, due to their particular situation, in cases where we process Users’ data on the basis of our legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes,
  • to transfer your personal data,
  • file a complaint to the supervisory authority in charge of personal data protection, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Period of personal data processing

ADO reserves the right to store (retention) the information obtained through the Site for as long as it is permitted for legal, regulatory reasons, and for legitimate business purposes. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data, we take into account the amount, nature and sensitivity of the Personal Data, the potential risk of harm resulting from unauthorized use or disclosure of the Personal Data, the purposes for which we process your Personal Data, and whether we can achieve these purposes through other means and applicable legal requirements.

To the extent that your data is processed on the basis of consent – Users have the right to withdraw their consent to data processing at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that was carried out on the basis of Users’ consent before its withdrawal. Consent can be withdrawn by sending a statement of withdrawal of consent to our mailing address or e-mail address.
