On October 14, 2016, the results of the international architectural competition for the reconstruction, expansion and superstructure of the Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery in Krakow were announced. The well-known gallery is located in Krakow’s Planty Park, between Szczepanski Square and Szewska Street. The theme of the competition was interior remodeling, expansion of the gallery to include additional underground spaces and a new café pavilion, as well as a superstructure with additional exhibition spaces, scheduled for completion in stage 2.
We are pleased to announce that our concept was among the distinguished projects, winning 1st Distinction.
All 34 competition entries can be viewed at the Krakow Planty from 14.10.-09.11.2016. as part of an open-air post-competition exhibition.
