Archi World Academy Awards is an international competition for the best student projects held every two years. The jury of successive editions of the competition has included such celebrities as Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskid, Kengo Kuma and Thomas Herzog.
Garden apartments, resident-friendly estates, places for integration and urban living are common features of Maciek’s project, which were appreciated by the jury of the prestigious Archi World Academy.
Maciek’s award-winning thesis is part of new trends in thinking about urban space. The vision of a residential area combined with allotment gardens and a common zone created between the buildings realizes the key postulates of modern space organization – integration, access to greenery and shared responsibility for urban space.
Of the 12 winners selected, the only Pole awarded is Maciej Warot of the Horizone Studio team. We congratulate Maciek and wish him further success!
