Horizone Studio was invited by TOT Architects to cooperate in the development of detailed implementation designs for the tender for two production and office complexes belonging to Integer Holdings Corporation.
The projects included the construction of a new complex with an area of approx. 8,750 m² in Galway, Ireland (Greenfield) and the extension of an existing facility for the same client in New Ross, Ireland by an additional 9,135 m².
Both buildings were designed with medical manufacturing and R&D in mind, spread over two floors. Each building will feature logistics spaces, new administrative offices and extensive site development, including employee parking, deliveries and technical buildings such as pumping stations and external installations.
The Greenfield project is a modern manufacturing and research complex with a total usable area of 13,656 m², comprising a two-storey manufacturing and research building, an office and administrative building and technical facilities. The development also includes a truck manoeuvring area, car and bicycle parking spaces, internal roads and controlled entrances with a security system. The project was completed on schedule.
