Just a dozen kilometers from Krakow, in a beautiful green environment, the construction of a small house inscribed in the landscape has been underway for several months. The building is located on a sloping area of a small hill, so its part housing the garage, sauna and technical rooms is hidden under the surface of the green area. Living rooms and a living room with an open kitchen are located on one level, connected to the green carpet of the grassy garden.
The body of the house designed by Horizone Studio has a horizontal character. With its materials it fits into the structure of the nearby landscape. The entire roof is covered with a systemic green roof using Optigruen technology. The facades are finished with rusty local stone. Large windows, framed with corten frames, allow daylight to penetrate inside the house. The rooms and living room offer fascinating views of the countryside.
Refined details of fixed blinds and small architecture, laser-cut from corten sheet, add flavor.
