Krakow in the Third Decade of the 21st Century – Architecture That Shapes the Future

The exhibition "3rd Decade: Krakow's Architecture 2020–2030" shows how the city's space is changing. Among the projects on display are those by Horizone Studio

The exhibition showcased the Masterplan for Wesoła, developed by a team of experts appointed by the City of Krakow, with @Bartłomiej Kisielewski, partner of Horizone Studio, serving as the lead architect and coordinator. You can read more about this interesting and important initiative in the article in Architektura i Biznes magazine and here.

The exhibition organizers emphasize that its goal is not to create a ranking of the best projects, but to highlight valuable architectural initiatives that shape the city’s image. It is also an invitation to reflect on how to consciously plan the development of urban space and the role of architecture in this process.

A statement by the Chief City Architect, Janusz Sepioł, highlights Krakow’s special position as one of the most important centers of contemporary architecture in Poland. The city is becoming a laboratory of ideas and a place for dialogue between historical heritage and modernity.

Horizone Studio’s participation in this exhibition is a source of pride for us – confirmation that our projects are part of a broader narrative about contemporary Krakow, its development, aesthetics, and identity.
