On October 21, 2015, the Copernicus Science Center hosted another conference in the Innovative Poland series titled “Smart Buildings & Smart Cities” organized by The Warsaw Voice publishing house.
The conference, attended by almost 150 people, featured experts, scientists and practitioners as speakers. The conference was accompanied by an exhibition of innovative solutions and an installation of the office of the future.
Horizone Studio was invited as one of the experts of the conference, presenting a lecture entitled “How to design a green office building, what solutions can improve its functioning.” and then taking part in a panel discussion on innovation in design.
The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy, the Minister of Environment, the Minister of Infrastructure and Development, NFOŚiGW, PIIB, IFMA and the City of Warsaw. Partners of the conference included such companies as TORUS, Kinnarps, Ghelamco, Capital Park, Lafarge Holcim, JLL, SARP, PZFD, WSP, Hines.
