On Tuesday morning, November 18th, another meeting in the BNI CITY – People, City, Space series took place inside the Radisson RED Hotel. The special guest was architect Bartłomiej Kisielewski, partner at Horizone Studio, who took participants behind the scenes of design work, discussing both the vision and the practical challenges of contemporary architecture. During the presentation and subsequent conversation, many topics were discussed that are increasingly defining the directions of industry development: the growing environmental awareness of investors, the real economic benefits of sustainable design, and the changing expectations for architects and the design process. The discussion also touched on the process of selecting an architectural studio, the factors that influence project pricing, and why a thorough design process is crucial to the success of the entire investment. The meeting demonstrated that architecture is not only about form and aesthetics, but above all, about responsibility for people, functionality, urban space, the environment, and future generations of building users. Participants asked numerous questions and shared experiences, and the networking discussions following the presentation only confirmed the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration between architects, investors, entrepreneurs, and local communities.
We extend our sincere thanks to all BNI CITY members and guests for their numerous attendance, engagement, and incredibly inspiring atmosphere. Special thanks go to Paweł Igielski from Hana Studio, who, as always, expertly captured the energy of the meeting in dynamic photographs.
We are delighted to have been a part of this valuable conversation about the city and its future. See you at future events—because the best projects begin with dialogue.
