On October 3-4, the 14th edition of the PLGBC Green Building Summit conference took place in Warsaw. As Horizone Studio, we had the honor of being a supporting partner of this unique event. This year, Dominik Darasz, a partner of our office, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Unlocking the potential of circularity”, where together with other experts he searched for solutions that can contribute to the implementation of the idea of circularity.
The first day of the conference featured four inspiring sessions:
The second day of the conference brought equally inspiring sessions. The first focused on the carbon footprint, while the second concerned the importance of EPDs on the Polish market.
The event also provided an opportunity for meetings and networking. In the partner zone, where various companies, including Horizone Studio, presented themselves at stands. Thank you for the numerous visits, for every inspiring conversation and interesting ideas for solutions for sustainable cities and districts. Our stand also featured LEGO bricks, which enjoyed great interest.
PLGBC Green Building Summit is the most recognizable and opinion-forming international event for all those who shape the future of sustainable construction, architecture and real estate in Poland. This is where specialists, practitioners and enthusiasts share best practices and inspirations. The program is filled with presentations, discussion panels, case studies, networking and other additional activities.
Think about (RE)generation is the theme of this year’s edition of the conference. Thinking about REgeneration today, we pay attention to meeting environmental, technological and civilizational challenges. The emphasis is primarily on sustainable development, which not only restores but also strengthens social and natural resources and relations. REgeneration in architecture is becoming an integral element of design, which not only minimizes the negative effects of human activity on the environment, but also actively contributes to the reconstruction and strengthening of ecosystems and local communities.
